Lydia Sieweke

Lydia Sieweke is the Ambassador of World Dream Day in Germany. As a global citizen who grew up in a small German village, she is passionate about people, human connection, and the power of dreams to inspire change.

With two decades of leadership experience in a global media, services, and education company, Lydia shifted in 2016 from a profit-oriented career to purpose-driven work.

As an Ambassador, Lydia brings World Dream Day to Germany for the very first time.

In June 2025, she launched the podcast “Dreams of Change – Season 1: Dream & Go”, a 100-day journey leading up to World Dream Day on September 25. Every Sunday she spoke with someone from across Germany who is living their dream or courageously working toward it.

Her podcast is intentionally simple, handmade, and rooted in one belief: that every human story matters. Her work has already attracted media attention, with features on NDR television and in the Pioneer Briefing. She will share her learnings and the collective wisdom from all conversations on World Dream Day 2025.

Lydia’s vision is to elevate dreaming in Germany from a private wish to a recognized source of creativity, cultural capital, and future leadership.
